Our Airbnb stay included breakfast, and the freshly prepared meal was a great way to start the day. After finishing up, we booked a cab to Ba Na Hills Resort, which took about an hour and a half to reach. Just as we arrived, it started pouring heavily. The car dropped us off at the parking area, but thankfully, the resort had shuttle buses to take visitors to the entrance.

Since we had pre-booked single-entry tickets, we went straight to the cable car station. The 20-minute cable car ride itself turned into an adventure, with strong winds and heavy rain making the ride thrilling. Along the way, we passed waterfalls and lush green mountains, making it a visual treat despite the gloomy weather.
Our first stop was the famous Golden Bridge, the one with the giant stone hands holding it. But the moment we stepped out, we realized it was completely covered in mist. We quickly bought rain covers and walked onto the bridge, only to see nothing beyond a few feet ahead. A little disappointed, we moved towards the French Village, where I had been excited to see the castles. Unfortunately, the thick mist turned them into nothing more than silhouettes.

Determined not to let the weather dampen our spirits, we explored the place, walking through rain-soaked streets. Eventually, we found shelter inside Fantasy Park, where we played a few games and checked out the small dinosaur park—surprisingly fun. When the rain finally subsided, we stepped outside to wander through hidden pathways leading to temples and gardens.

Hoping for a clearer view of the Golden Bridge, we headed back to the cable car station—only to accidentally board the wrong one, which took us straight to the exit. Since our tickets were single-entry, we were technically not allowed back in. After explaining our situation to the staff, they were kind enough to let us re-enter. This time, we managed to see the Golden Bridge properly, though the mist returned before long.

Satisfied with our visit, we decided to call it a day and headed back to Hoi An. After some rest, we couldn’t resist another stroll through the charming streets. After all, you don’t get to experience such beautiful places every day. We walked around, had dinner, and then returned to our hotel to crash for the night.
